Wedding Season

Wedding season has arrived! We have three weddings to attend over the next three months, the first of which happened this weekend.Β And, even better, two of them are local and between close friends so I get to attend bridal showers too! πŸ™‚

Meghan, an old roomie of mine, had her bridal shower a few weeks ago. It was somewhat of a surprise (even though, it happened at her house…not sure how they figured that one out!). She came in to a room full of girls and sunny decor (much like her disposition). πŸ™‚

hi Stephane!

We played a get-to-know-you game about Meg (which really I should have done better on), munched on a delicious spread prepared by her sisters and mother, and chatted and laughed with friends.

And, of course, no bridal shower would be complete without a toilet paper version of “Say Yes to the Dress”!! πŸ˜‰

Including a tea cup that belonged to her great-grandmother, if I remember correctly.

Her wedding was this past Saturday at our gorgeous cathedral.

I was wrestling Evelyn so this was the best photo I got during the ceremony. πŸ™‚

Congratulations, Colin and Meghan!!!

We snapped a few photos with the bride at the reception, including this one of the three roomies of the once Riviera Manor.

A friend captured this one of Evelyn and I, although Evelyn was moving too fast and made it a bit distorted (this is a regular problem). πŸ˜‰

having fun at the wedding!

Next up for nuptials, this month, is our friend Anne-Marie. Evelyn and I attended her bridal shower about two weeks ago. Her sisters put on a lovely shower with many cute, country chic details. (Didn’t have my good camera for this one, boo.)

bridal shower details

Anne-Marie is the youngest in a very large family. (I think it is 12.) So there were many sisters, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, aunts, etc. (and a few friends ;)) to celebrate!

opening gifts

Evelyn enjoyed hanging out with Emily. Lovely ladies.

So much beauty for one post!!!! πŸ˜‰

We love to hear from you!
